Potrero is a hidden jewel in the north-west of Guanacaste stretching from Flamingo, thru Surfside to the town of Potrero.  The Flamingo Marina is located in the protected waters of Potrero Bay and the two and a half mile beach is perfect for swimming and for long walks.  This rural town embraces the old Costa Rican coast villages style and can be seen as a tranquil spot away from other touristy places.  With a year round Pacific sunset it is the perfect tropical vacation destination.

 

Casa Pacifique and Apartment Pacifique are conveniently located within walking distance to three beautiful beaches, Playa Penca, Playa Prieta, and Potrero Beach, three secluded and pristine coves that offer outstanding swimming and snorkeling.  Playa Penca is a small, secluded cove bordered on either side by rocky points and jungle, this white sanded beach gets little waves, making it a peaceful place to swim, picnic, and play in the sand. It's one of the well kept secrets by the locals that love going there to rest and enjoy the beautiful sunsets!

 

You are also a short car ride away from several other beaches, Sugar Beach, Playa Danta, Dantita, Flamingo Beach, and Playa Conchal. Tamarindo is a 25 min drive away. There are a few restaurants and local grocery stores within walking distance from the property and many other great dining options and grocery stores a short drive away.  Liberia Aeroport is about an hour away.

Wake up to the sound of Howler Monkeys, plenty of birds and wildlife. You are also very likely to see the Howlers in front of the property in the big mango tree across the street.
